- Contrast A Orchid (62017) 1 ball or 57 yds/ 52 m
- Contrast B Vintage White (62008) 1 ball or 69 yds/63 m
- Size U.S. U/50 (25 mm) circular knitting needles 36" [91.5 cm] long or size needed to obtain gauge
- 20"x 30" [51x 76 cm] Queen size pillow form
- Stitch markers
- Small amount of off-white yarn to match B for tying tassels
- Cardboard 5" [12.5 cm] wide
- MEASUREMENTS: Approx 22"x 32" [56 x 81.5 cm], excluding tassels.
- GAUGE: 2.5 sts and 3.5 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stocking st.

Pillow is worked in the round from side to side and seamed on 2 ends.
Place marker at beg of rnd for easier counting.
With A, cast on 28 sts. Join for working in rnd, being careful not to twist and placing marker at first st.
Work in stocking st (knit every rnd) until work from beg measures 16" [40.5 cm].
Break A. Join B.
Next rnd: With B, *K2. P2. Rep from * around.
Rep last rnd until work from beg measures 32" [81.5 cm].
Cast off.
FINISHING
With A, sew cast-on edge tog. Insert pillow form. With B, sew cast-off edge tog.
Tassels (make 4)Wind B around a piece of cardboard 5" [12.5 cm] wide 5 times. With worsted weight yarn tie through loops securely at one end leaving long tails for sewing to pillow. Cut across other end. Wrap worsted weight yarn twice around tassel, 2" [5 cm] down from tied end. Fasten securely. Using long tails, sew 1 tassel to each corner of pillow (as shown in photo) (SEE DIAGRAM 1)
