Great yarn to make a blanket to give as a gift.
As a rule, I really like to use Bernat Blanket yarn for blankets…..the final outcome is a warm, soft, squishy blanket. Color choices are excellent. The yarn feels soft with which to crochet. This time I was a bit disappointed with numerous knots and tangling in more than half of the skeins. The recipient of the blanket, I know, will enjoy this gift regardless of the frustrations that I had.

Plush yarn that doesn’t unravel when cut
I am having excellent time creating with this yarn. A few out of more than 14 skeins had a couple of bad knots used. But they were easily cut and became seamless in my WIP.

New to Bernat blanket yarn
This is my first time using Bernat Blanket yarn, Making amigurimi is so rewarding with this yarn. I have made so many things out of a couple skeins. Everything I make with it is so soft. It is also easy on the wrists if you have carpal tunnel.

Vintage White was dirty
I ordered a few different colors, including vintage white. I just went to work with it and it’s a mess for some reason. While some of it is plush and soft and true to color, every few rows I do I run into rough and discolored areas. It’s strange. I used the center pull and that was the worst as far as it being a matted feeling and discolored with a greyish tone. Then I tried to go from the outside, it was a bit better but still discolored. This is definitely one I would recommend going in store for and not ordering online.
