- Size U.S. 11 (8 mm) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge
- 24" square pillow form
- 3 buttons
- MEASUREMENT
- Approx 24" square.
- GAUGE
- 8 sts and 13 rows = 4" in stocking st.
DIRECTIONS:
Front and Back (make 2 alike).With MC, cast on 48 stitches (sts).
1st row: [Right side (RS)]. Knit.
2nd row: Purl.
Repeat (rep) last 2 rows for stocking st until work from beginning (beg) measures 24". Cast off knitwise.
Front Flap
With A, cast on 45 sts. Work in garter st (knit every row) until work from beg measures 10".
Next row: Knit 9 (K9). *Cast off 3 sts. K9. Rep from * to end of row.
Next row: K9. *Cast on 3 sts. K9. Rep from * to end of row.
Continue (cont) in garter stitch until work from beg measures 12". Cast off knitwise.
FINISHING
Sew Front and Back together (tog) around 3 sides, leaving top edges open. Sew Front Flap to top edge of Back, and sew edges of Flap at side seams. Sew buttons to Front to correspond with buttonholes on Front Flap.

Fine title
No instructions for finishing or when to insert pillow form. Fortunately over 50 years of knitting came in handy and I improvised.
