- Bernat® Blanket Extra™
- Small: Burgundy Plum, 1 ball
- Medium: Burnt Rose, 1 ball
- Large: Gray Orchid, 1 ball
- Size U.S. 17 circular knitting needle, 24" long or size needed to obtain gauge.
- MEASUREMENTS
- Small: Approx 10 1/2" diameter x 9" tall.
- Medium: Approx 12 1/2" diameter x 6" tall.
- Large: Approx 14" diameter x 11 1/2" tall.
- GAUGE
- 4.5 sts and 9 rows = 4" in garter stitch.
DIRECTIONS:
- The instructions are written for smallest size. If changes are necessary for larger sizes the instructions will be written thus ( ). Numbers for each size are shown in the same order throughout the pattern. When only one number is given, it applies to all sizes.
- Cast on 16 (14-21) sts. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows:
- **1st row: (RS). Knit.
- 2nd row: K15 (13-20). Turn. Leave rem sts unworked.
- 3rd and alt rows: Knit.
- 4th row: K14 (12-19). Turn. Leave rem sts unworked.
- 6th row: K13 (11-18). Turn Leave rem sts unworked.
- Cont in same manner, working 1 st less every following alt row until row: “K10 (7-13). Turn. Leave rem sts unworked" is complete.
- Next row: Knit.
- Next row: Knit all 16 (14-21) sts.** Rep from ** to ** 5 times more. Cast off.
- FINISHING
- Sew cast on and cast-off edges tog.
