SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Bernat Blanket Extra Thick (21.2oz; 72yds)
• Dusk (62007), 2 Balls or 105yds
• Size U.S. U/50 (25mm) Crochet Hook or Size Needed to Obtain Gauge
• Stitch Marker
• 16" Diameter Round Pillow Form (Note: Pillow Form is smaller than finished dimensions of Pillow as yarn creates a dense and thick fabric that adds to the overall measurements).


• MEASUREMENT: Approx 20" Diameter, including thickness of fabric and edging.


• GAUGES:
• 2 sc and 2 rows = 4"
• 4 sl stbl and 5 rnds = 4"

FRONT AND BACK (make alike):
NOTE:
Do not join at ends of rnds unless otherwise stated. Work in spiral placing marker on first st of rnd for easier counting.
Ch 2.
1st rnd: 8 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join with sl st in first sc.
2nd rnd: (Sl stbl) twice in each sc around. 16 sts.
3rd rnd: *(Sl stbl) twice in next st. Sl stbl in next st. Rep from * around. 24 sts.
4th rnd: *Sl stbl in next st. (Sl stbl) twice in next st. Sl stbl in next st. Rep from * around. 32 sts.
5th rnd: *(Sl stbl) twice in next st. Sl stbl in each of next 3 sts. Rep from * around. 40 sts.
6th rnd: *Sl stbl in each of next 2 sts. (Sl stbl) twice in next st. Sl stbl in each of next 2 sts. Rep from * around. 48 sts.
7th to 9th rnds: Sl stbl in each st around.
Join with sl st in first st. Fasten off.

FINISHING:
Joining Front and Back: 1st rnd: (RS). With WS of Front and Back facing each other, sl st Pillow tog on RS, working through back loop only and keeping working yarn to WS of work to create a flat sl st chain detail around edge of Pillow (See DIAGRAM 1), inserting pillow form at halfway point and cont around to end. Join with sl st to first st. Fasten off.
Note: Keep working yarn to WS of work so only flat sl st chain is visible on RS.
