Still haven’t received my order.

Heavy Blanket
This yarn was great for making a very heavy, warm, and cozy blanket. It's so soft to the touch. It's not like your typical yearn, so be sure to look up the tips and trips to using this sort of yarn.

For those who had a problem with this product, the extra thick is the really jumbo one that I recommend for the giant variety of year. But I love it, use the clover crochet hook, size 15.0 mm, it worked for me and was recommended. I love the texture and the colors.

Mushy, soft & forgiving for a beginner
I’m very new to crocheting. I am more of a seamstress, but have watched friends make cool stuff crocheting & have wanted to add this skill to my “tool kit”. I have tried it a number of times over the years, but never felt I was any good at it, even though I’m great at macrame.
Looping yarn proved to be my “gateway” yarn. After making a bunch of stuff out of it, I wanted to try again w/ a hook!
I purchased this yarn because I loved how soft it was, and because it’s almost the same yarn Bernat uses to make the looping “Blanket EZ” stuff I’ve gotten comfortable w/ using to make blankets & scarves.
After watching some tutorial videos from “The Crochet Crowd” I tried Tunisian Crochet using a long bamboo hook & made a bikini top out of the Juicy Couture Velvet yarn. That made me realize I might be able to do other forms of crochet - as long as I use a bamboo hook. The metal ones always felt uncomfortable to me & my results were terrible - too slippery!
I got a 15mm bamboo hook from Jubilee Yarn on Amazon specifically for this yarn. It was nicely made & didn’t require any additional sanding like some of the cheaper bamboo hooks I also purchased on Amazon.
I realized that making something in a large scale yarn makes learning & practicing the stitches easier for me.
The bamboo isn’t as slippery as the metal, and that along w/ the inherent fuzzy texture of this yarn makes it so much easier for me to focus on learning some basic stitches, without having to fuss over tension too much!
Looking forward to trying more Bernat Blanket yarns in the future, now that I have a little more confidence!
I made a small blanket for my cat & it’s the first item I’ve actually completed in traditional crochet.
I used sc & hdc. It isn’t perfect, but I’m happy enough w/ the results that I didn’t feel the need to pull the whole thing apart & start over.
The resulting fabric is at least 1” thick. I used about half the skein each of 2 colors & can’t wait to try more projects w/ this yarn!

Chenille wool needs to be separated with Guage size
I recently purchased 3 rolls of 9 different colors all together ..they send it in two separate shipments..Due to them sending it separately, it cost me double .They also cut me 2 rolls short on my order .
