Burgundy Ombre
I love the softness of this yarn. I love the ease of use of this yarn. I love the colors, they are fantastic and gorgeous. I love the gauge of the yarn when it’s consistent.
My main problem is that this urine thins out. When you first start out it’s more of a full consistency. As you go along all of a sudden it thins out like half the size. And it shows when you’re making a blanket that all of a sudden is real thin and raggedy. I have no idea why it thins out but it probably has something to do with the machines. So far I’ve gone through five skins and Three of the five have Issue. I’m going to be contacting the company. Luckily I was making a blanket for someone that didn’t care but if I intend on selling these I can’t use inferior yarn it’s also inconsistent. I might add, all of my skeins I had delivered to the house I didn’t pick up any at the local store, which really isn’t local cause they’re 40 miles away.

I love the idea but I had a problem with the yarn ending in one color and starting in the opposite color in the middle of the ball/skein which throws off the whole pattern of colors. I wrote to the company and they pretty much blew me off. Disappointing considering the cost of each skein.

Ordered 8 balls only got 3!!!
Love bernat blanket yarn! I was planning on making a blanket so I ordered 8 balls. Came in a week but I only received 3 out of the 8 balls I ordered. Call and got a gift card. Tried too place a pick up order, was unable to check out. Tried again and now nothing left on my gift card. Great now have too call customer service again!! Super disappointed

Absolutely awful. Not worth price.
This has to be some of the worst color changing yarn ever. There are no actual color changes. Every color change is a knot. It’s just different colors knotted together and then wound into a cake. It’s awful. Although the yarn itself is soft it’s just really awful and cheap feeling. I am not a big fan. For how much this crap costs it should be better. Other companies make better color changing yarn. I could have just bought the different colors myself and made the stripes myself. This is just awful.
I have been knitting and crocheting for over 30 years and I have used some amazing yarns and also some pretty bad rough yarns. This has to be in one of my top 5 worst yarns I’ve ever used. It’s a polyester yarn and even the yarn itself seems to really affect the eczema on my hands. No other yarn has done this. Not even 100% wool

I agree with all the prior reviews. Love the colors & softness- but way too many tie- together (knots)!!
I wrote a letter to the company and ....well read on for their response--
So disappointed...so basically from their point of view- " it is what it is"

Not what I was expecting
The yarn was soft, and the colors I was looking for but were completely out of order. The transition from color to color were made with knots and it went from a light color to a very dark color without any ombre effects at all! It completely ruined my project and had to buy a different yarn. Very disappointing.

Not a true ombré
This is more like self striping yarn. The color abruptly changes. It really should be classified as self striping, not ombré. I made one blanket using this and am currently making another. I do like the colors but it’s just not what I was expecting when it said ombré. Definitely worth it when it’s on sale.
