Bernat Crochet One and Done Hanging Basket Trio

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Bernat Blanket O'Go (10.5 oz/300 g; 220 yds/201 m)
• Art Nouveau (42022) 1 O'Go or 192 yds/176 m
• NOTE: 1 O'Go will make 3 Baskets
• Size U.S. 7 mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• Stitch marker


• GAUGE: 8 sc and 8 rnds = 4".


• MEASUREMENTS: Approx 6" diameter x 7 1/2" tall, unfolded and excluding Handle.

DIRECTIONS:

NOTES:
To begin working with the O’Go format, carefully cut plastic tie where the ends of the O’Go meet. 
Pull tie to remove. 
Colors can be easily separated by gently pulling apart and cutting at the color transition. Each color is ready to use.
Designate each color A, B, and C as indicated in shade palette.
Do not join at ends of rnds. Cont working in spiral placing marker on first st of rnd for easier counting.

BASKET (Make 1 in each of A, B, and C)
Ch 2.
1st rnd: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 6 sc.
Cont working in spiral as follows:
2nd rnd: 2 sc in each sc around. 12 sts.
3rd rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in next sc. Rep from * around. 18 sc.
4th rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. Rep from * around. 24 sc.
5th rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 3 sc. Rep from * around. 30 sc.
6th rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 4 sc. Rep from * around. 36 sc.
7th to 19th rnds: 1 sc in each sc around.
20th rnd: Ch 8. Skip each of first 6 sc - Handle made. Being careful not to twist chain, 1 sc in each of last 30 sc.
21st rnd: 1 sc in each of first 8 ch. 1 sc in each of last 30 sc. 38 sc.
Join with sl st in first sc. Fasten off.
Hang Basket from Handle, folding upper 2" of front edge of basket down (as shown in photo).
