With MC, chain (ch) 23.
1st row: (Right side - RS). 1 single crochet (sc) in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of ch. Turn. 22 stitches (sts).
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn.
Repeat (rep) 2nd row until work from beginning (beg) measures approximately (approx) 52" [132 cm], ending on a wrong side (WS) row. Fasten off.
FINISHING:
Edging: With RS facing and A, use your crochet sts as a guide and your fingers instead of a needle, sew a Blanket Stitch border approx 1 st /1 row deep evenly around perimeter of afghan, working 3 sts in each corner. (SEE DIAGRAM 1)

It doesn’t tell you to work both colors at the same time. Pattern is not available to download, just the blanket stitch is shown.

Where’s the second color
The pattern shows two colors and the instructions tell you how much of each color you need. BUT the directions only say Main Color MC. They don’t tell you when to crochet the second c9lor except for the border???
