Bernat EZ Lounger Pillow

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ Stripes Ocean (46012) 13 ballsLarge eye yarn needle
• Safety pin
• Scissors
• 5 lb polyester stuffing


• MEASUREMENTS: Approx 60" [152.5 cm] long x 48" [122 cm] wide.
• GAUGE: 5 sts = 4" [10 cm].

NOTE: Right side of project is facing at all times.
Pillow is worked in rounds.
'Working yarn is held behind stitches for all rounds.
Replace safety pin marker at end of every round.

Cut first loop of yarn close to base to create tail approx 3" [7 1/2 cm] long. Count 120 loops for foundation round. Tie tail to yarn between 120th and 121st loops to create ring. Place all loops facing upwards.

1st round: Working from right to left, with working yarn in back, pull 121st loop (from 'working yarn') up through 1st loop (first loop of foundation row) towards front to create a knit stitch. *Pull next loop from working yarn towards front through next stitch to create a knit stitch. Repeat from * around. Do not turn. Place safety pin between first and last stitches or round to mark end of round.
2nd round: Working from right to left, with working yarn at back, pull next loop from working yarn up from behind through 1st stitch worked on previous round to create a knit stitch. *Pull next loop from working yarn up from behind through next stitch to create a knit stitch. Repeat from * around. Do not turn. Replace safety pin to mark end of round.

Repeat 2nd round until work measures approx 60" [152.5 cm].

BIND OFF ROUND: Working from right to left, pull 2nd stitch through 1st stitch. Pull 3rd stitch through 2nd stitch. Pull 4th stitch through 3rd stitch. Continue in this manner around. Cut last loop on working yarn to create yarn tail. Pull yarn tail through last loop. Tie to secure and weave in ends.

FINISHING:
**Cut length of yarn approx 30" [76 cm] long. Cut thread at base of all loops to create a smooth yarn for seaming.
Thread yarn onto large eye yarn needle.**
Lay Pillow flat and sew beginning end closed.
Stuff Pillow firmly.
Turn Pillow 90 degrees so top edge is perpendicular to beginning end.
Repeat from ** to **.
Sew top edge closed.
