Aquamarine is Contrast A. Dazzle is Contrast B.
Right side of project is facing at all times.
'Working yarn' is held behind stitches throughout work, unless otherwise stated.
Loops from working yarn are always pulled through stitches from back to front of work, unless otherwise stated.

RIBBED BACK PANEL
With A, count 26 loops for foundation row (noting yarn end is at far right and all loops are facing upwards).

RIBBING:
1st row: Working from left to right, with yarn at back, twist 26th loop (last loop of foundation row once to the left. Pull 27th loop (from 'working yarn') up through 26th loop from behind to create twisted st. With yarn in front, pull next loop from working yarn towards back through next loop.*With yarn in back, twist next loop once to left. Pull next loop from working yarn up through twisted loop. With yarn in front, pull next loop from working yarn towards back through next loop. Rep from * to end of row. 26 sts in row. Do not turn work.
2nd row: Working from right to left, with yarn in front, pull next loop from working yarn towards back through last st worked on previous row. With yarn in back, twist next loop once to left. Pull next loop from yarn up through twisted loop. *With yarn in front, pull next loop from yarn towards back through next st. With yarn in back, twist next loop once to left. Pull next loop from yarn up through twisted loop. Rep from * to end of row. Do not turn.
3rd row: Working from left to right, with yarn at back, twist last loop of previous row once to left. Pull next loop from yarn up from behind to create a twisted st. With yarn in front, pull next loop from yarn towards back through next st. *With yarn in back, twist next loop once to left. Pull next loop from yarn up through twisted loop. With yarn in front, pull next loop from yarn towards back through next st. Rep from * to end of row. Do not turn.
4th row: As 2nd row.
5th row: Working from left to right, pull next loop from yarn up from behind through last st worked on previous row. *Pull next loop from yarn up from behind through next st. Rep from * to end of row. Do not turn.
6th row: Working from right to left, pull next loop from yarn up from behind through last st worked on previous row. *Pull next loop from yarn up from behind through next st. Rep from * to end of row. Do not turn.
Rep 5th and 6th rows until Ribbed Back Panel measures 6" [15 cm], ending on a 6th row.
Bind-off row: Working in same direction as last row, pull 2nd st through first st. Pull 3rd st through 2nd st. Pull 4th st through 3rd st. Continue in this manner to end of row. Cut last loop to create a yarn 'tail'. Tie to secure and weave in ends.

FRONT AND BACK (make Back in A and Front in B)
With B, start each new ball at beginning of color change, this prevents stripes from shifting.
With B, there are 52 loops per each color section. Only this number of loops will work for striping effect shown.
With B, determine beginning of color change and count exact amount of loops of that same color

Count 26 loops for foundation row (noting yarn end is at far right and all loops are facing
upwards).
1st row: Working from left to right, pull 27th loop (from 'working yarn') up through
26th loop (last loop of foundation row) from behind to create a knit st. Pull next loop
from working yarn up through next loop of foundation. Continue in this manner to end
of row. Do not turn work. 26 sts in row.
2nd row: Working from right to left, pull next loop from working yarn up from behind
through last st worked on previous row. *Pull next loop from working yarn up from
behind through next st. Rep from * across to end of row. Do not turn.
3rd row: Working from left to right, pull next loop from working yarn up from behind
through last st worked on previous row. *Pull next loop from working yarn up from
behind through next st. Rep from * across to end of row. Do not turn.
Rep 2nd and 3rd rows until piece measures 20" [51 cm], ending on a 3rd row.

Bind-off row: Working in same direction as last row, pull 2nd st through first st.
Pull 3rd st through 2nd st. Pull 4th st through 3rd st. Continue in this
manner to end of row. Cut last loop to create a yarn 'tail'. Tie to secure and weave in ends.

FINISHING (SEE DIAGRAM 1)
Align cast-on edge of Pillow Front and cast-on edge of Ribbed Back Panel with right sides facing out. With A, cut thread at base of loops carefully to separate and create smooth length of yarn approx 36" [91.5 cm] long for seaming. Thread yarn onto yarn needle. Sew cast-on edge of Pillow Front and cast-on edge of Ribbed Back Panel tog.

Align Front and Back (making sure cast-on edges are aligned) with right sides facing out and noting that Ribbed Back Panel is sandwiched between Front and Back with side edges aligned. With A, cut thread at base of loops carefully to separate and create smooth length of yarn approx 76" [193 cm] long for seaming. Thread yarn onto yarn needle. Sew side edges and tops (cast-off edges) of Front and Back tog, working through all thickness alongside edges where Ribbed Back Panel is aligned. Insert pillow form, pulling Ribbed Back Panel around edge of Pillow form to keep it in place.
