Directions
Notes: Worked in multiples of 3 + 2 ch. When joining colors, work to last 2 loops on hook of first color. Draw new color through last 2 loops and proceed. Carry color not in use loosely up side of work.
Stripe Pattern (Pat) With MC, work 2 rows. With A, work 2 rows. These 4 rows form Stripe Pat.
FRONT and BACK (make 2 pieces alike) With MC, chain (ch) 32. 1st row: [Right side (RS)]. 2 single crochet (sc) in 2nd ch from hook. *Skip next 2 ch. 3 sc in next ch. Repeat (rep) from * to last 3 ch. Skip next 2 ch. 2 sc in last ch. Turn. 2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in first sc. Skip next sc. 3 sc in next space (sp). *Skip next 3 sc. 3 sc in next sp. Rep from * to last 2 sc. Skip next sc. 1 sc in last sc. Join A. Turn. 3rd row: With A, ch 1. 2 sc in first sc. *Skip next 3 sc. 3 sc in next sp. Rep from * to last 4 sc. Skip next 3 sc. 2 sc in last sc. Turn. 4th row: Ch 1. 1 sc in first sc. Skip next sc. 3 sc in next sp. *Skip next 3 sc. 3 sc in next sp. Rep from * to last 2 sc. Skip next sc. 1 sc in last sc. Turn. First 4 rows of Stripe Pat complete. Keeping continuity (cont) of Stripe Pat, rep 3rd and 4th rows until work from beginning (beg) measures approximately (approx) 30" [76 cm], ending with 2 rows of MC. Fasten off.
Edging: Joining Front and Back: 1st round (rnd): With Wrong Side (WS) facing each other, join A with slip stitch (sl st) to any corner stitch (st) of Pillow. Ch 1. Working through both thicknesses, work sc evenly around 3 sides of Pillow, having 3 sc in each corner. Insert pillow form. Complete rnd of sc. Join with sl st. Fasten off.
