Works well for a particular sewing task

No compensation for seam allowance markings idea
This is a good product and I did have a part in the development, but I wanted to comment on the Taylor Seville Magic Clip. The seam allowance markings on the Magic Clip were my idea as is the new Taylor Seville Tailor's Chalk - taken from my grandmother who was a seamstress from Germany. The ideas were taken from me without compensation, and I have sought legal representation against the owner of Taylor Seville. He has refused to compensate me for any of my product development ideas that eventually went into production.

Useless
These are extremely difficult to use. I pressed hard enough to open the clip and it went flying up and hit me in the head. I thought it was just a defective one so I tried another and it took 2 hands to open the clip. These are useless for me. Really, really useless.
