SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 6 spools of 1/4" ribbon
- Super glue
- 2 eye screws
- 1 1/4" dowel rod
- Craft saw
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut (2) 3" length dowel rods.
- Screw the eye screws to the end of each cut piece of dowel.
- Cut 20 strips of ribbon at about 25" long (10 for each side).
- Thread each piece of ribbon halfway through the eye screw and knot in the middle so ribbon is securely attached to the eye screw.
- Repeat for all 10 ribbons.
- Do the same for both bike tassels.
- Attaching Dowel To Bike:
- Most children's bikes have a rubber hole at the end of handle bars on a bike. If bike does not have one, you could easily create one with a drill.
- Add super glue to dowel and slide it into the hole.
- Let dry for 24 hours.
JOANN Hacks:
- Use a wood-burning tool to finish the ends of ribbon that frays as a safer option than flame.
