SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Use 3/8yd less than amount stated on pattern of Floral Lace
• Use 3/8yd less amount for underlining
• 1pk of 1" elastic
• McCall’s® 7962
• McCall’s 8066
• Add additional amount for lining as underlining

DIRECTIONS:

TOP: McCall’s 7962

1. Remove ruffle on view C at the neckline and bottom ruffle. Complete garment using the Floral Lace and underlining as one fabric. Use lining as stated on pattern.
SKIRT: McCall’s 8066

2. Skirt was made 6" shorter than pattern for a shorter version. Sew Floral Lace skirt separate from under lining skirt. Attach at waistline. Complete waistband as directed on pattern.
3. Hem lining. Floral Lace does not require hemming.

Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:

• Floral Lace fabric does not need to be hemmed as it doesn’t unravel and has a cleaner finish.
• When placing Floral Lace at the center front, find an equal balance of lace for the center front.
• Avoid back stitching as much as possible to keep lace from getting caught in needle plate.
