Are they discontinuing this???
My store has only a few colors left in stock..they used to have a wide selection, and now, they don’t even have signage for this particular fleece. I use it for crafts, and the Anti-pill brand is too fuzzy for my needs, not to mention pricier than I care for, for items I make and sell. I don’t like having to order it online as colors aren’t true, nor do I need 2 yds of most colors.

Ordered and came cut
I ordered 3 fabrics, 3 yards each. I received to in 3 yd pieces and the third they sent a 2yd piece and a 1yd piece. Was making a tie blanket so now I have to travel an hour and a half to go to a store to return it and get a 3 yd piece!!!!

Order cancelled without telling me
I ordered two yards of the fleece on line with two other items. The fleece was cancelled without anyone telling me. Be careful if only part of your order ships - they might cancel the remaining items and you'll never know!

Paper thin fabric - im returning it
The quality of blizzard fleece is so bad i'll not be buying again... paper thin, coarse and more like cheap, cheap felt than a fleece. Such a shame for i've been buying from Joanns for years.

I bought 10 yards for the discount, they only had 7. I bought 7 and prior to pick up they only had 4. I needed at least 7. I cannot cancel either. Website leaves a lot to be desired.

Not great quality fleece
This blizzard fleece looks and feels soft in the store but after going through the washer and dryer about 5-6 times, the fleece fabric starts to come off the mesh type backing, leaving bare spots in the fabric. If you are not going to be washing this very much, it might be fine My daughter made a no sew fleece tote bag and it still looks nice. I made some fleece pillowcases and they look terrible with fleece bits missing on the fabric.

Fabric OK. However, very disappointed that I only received 9 yards 24 inches. The bolt was a full 12 inches short. I had to purchase additional fabric for my project.

Two months ago, I bought five colors of blizzard fleece to make many pet toys. Now, I used the leftover fabric for one of my patchwork designs. Blizzard fleece isn't just a great choice for babies; it's also great for pets, too.

Will never buy this fleece again, stretches out easily while sewing
I purchased 3 yards of the blue aster and ivory to make a blanket for my Dad. I cut the fleece into strips to outline the center design made of Hoffman minky. The blizzard fleece colors are beautiful but stretch out way too much. Even with using my walking foot, one side is much longer than the other. Very disappointed in the quality of this product.

Big black finger prints on my white fleece
White fleece came with black greasy finger prints on it. Can't wash them out. Who ever cut these had very dirty hands.

Is it black?
I've been buying bolts of fleece, both blizzard and anti pill for years and occassionally I'll get one with a flaw in it but odds are I can work around it. But the last two bolts of black anti-pill fleece I bought were almost green. If you hold it up to black, it kicks even greener. I'm hoping this was because of the Covid for lack of anything better to blame it on. I think I'm gonna switch to blizzard and hope for a true black.

Bold true color
I reviewed the snowflake print of which I purshased 26 yds and 10 yards of a Santa print. But the one I was worried about was the solid, not sure how well it would blend with the prints. To my delight the 40 yards were bright, bold and will be perfect for the underside of my blankets. I'm so excited to get started on them

IVORY FLEECE - examine fabric before you cut
I bought 7 yards of Ivory Blizzard fleece for a customer's order and proceeded to cut the fabric. After cutting, when there is no possibility of return, I found a yellowed stain about 30" wide, running about every 50", throughout the piece. I found it when I lifted the fabric to ready it for the second cut and the light caught the yellowed curved stain. The stain was hardly visible when the fabric was flat on the table, but since it is for a customer, I couldn't take a chance that it would wash out. I was able to get 4 yards of useable fabric out of 7.
This is the second time I have had trouble with Ivory. At the very least, I recommend CAREFULLY examining the fabric, no matter how many yards(!), before you cut.

Good enough fabric, but DO NOT order online!!
While this fabric is what I needed to do the project I was working on, I would definitely not buy this again unless I was physically in the store. I ordered 8 yards of fabric and was sent 2 separate cuts. One was cut 4.66 yards and the other was 3.33 yards. Because of how they cut and sent the fabric, I am now 1/2 yard short for my project, when I should have had 1/2 yard left over.
And yes, I understand that when you check out online, it states you MAY receive your fabric in up to 2 separate cuts. But why not send the fabric in EVEN yards?? Had I gotten two 4 yard pieces, my project would have worked perfectly without me having to piece together a bunch of small pieces and have to go buy more fabric. I'm so upset, mad and disappointed as this project needed to be done on a deadline and now I may not be able to be finished in time because of this issue.

Great fleece - know what to expect
Anti pill fleece is softer than blizzard, however blizzard is cheaper. This is very important to know before buying blizzard, it's still a great fleece and works great for many purposes.

Quality of your fleece has gone way way down!!
I have bought so much fleece in the past 10 years and starting last year the quality has deteriorated to about 1/4th - 1/3rd the thickness. This fabric is unusable for most projects now since it is so thin there is no warmth. Please return to better quality!!

Red fleece stains whatever it touches
All the other colors of fleece seemed ok, but the red fleece has permanently stained the edge of my new sewing table and machine just by rubbing against it while sewing. Hate to leave a poor review but this was extremely unexpected and disappointing.

good for fursuits
yo im a fursuit maker, and joann's is the absolute ONLY place i go to to make fursuits. the foam is super good, the buckram, and this fleece is INCREDIBLE. its super soft, its stretchy, it comes in a plethora of colors which i am obsessed with. i've bought so many variants of this fleece and i have never ever been dissapointed.

Wonderful fleece!
I have made over 150 blankets. All my family members have 1. I make them for church blanket drive, KHS, and beauties and beasts 11th hour rescue. I buy up yards and yards when it goes on sale. My family always knows to give me Joann's gift cards for birthday and Christmas.
