SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Sticky back foam sheets
- Extra thick foam sheet
- Washable marker or pen
- Scissors
- Fabric paint
- Foam brush
- Various fabric surfaces to print onto
DIRECTIONS:
- Trace or draw a simple shape onto the foam sheet. Cut shape out with scissors.
- Cut smaller shapes from the sticky back foam sheets. Stick small shapes to the larger shape. Keep smaller shapes close together, filling the larger shape.
- Use foam brush to apply a thin layer of fabric paint to the smaller shapes on the stamp.
- Working on a protective surface, stamp design onto fabric surface.
JOANN Hacks:
- Spread a thin layer of paint onto an extra piece of foam. Press stamp into the paint, wiggling stamp around to quickly and evenly coat the stamp.
- For T-shirts and tote bags, protect the opposite side of the material by putting a piece of cardboard inside the item.
- For a clean print, apply stamp with firm, even pressure.
