Must Haves for Your Cricut Explore Air

We all have our go-to’s.
Our go-to snacks. I’m a Cheez-It girl.
Our go-to outfits. Jumpsuits are my current obsession.
Our go-to shade of lipstick. “Candy Yum Yum” by M.A.C, please!

…and when you’re a crafty girl, you also have your go-to supplies that never let you down.

Amber here from Damask Love and I want to give you the low down on some of my favorites from Joann’s.

When it comes to crafting with my Cricut Explore Gold, there are a few supplies I always turn to for a quick project. Since I like the look of clean and simple projects, I have to get supplies that are good quality and make my designs shine. There’s no room for error.

Since the Cricut Explore Gold is exclusively available at Jo-Ann, I figured I should share some of my favorite Joann’s products used to create the exclusive projects available with your machine.

1. Shoe Clips
I’ve made my fair share of shoe clips with the Cricut Explore. Pineapples, Halloween Bats, and Ice Cream Cones. The gold bow show clip project is another favorite and makes the perfect gift!

2. Tulip Fashion Bond Glitter Glue
Nothing is worse than making a project with glitter, only to have it flake off over time. To create the glitter dipped look of my “Stay Golden,” tote bag project, I adhered Extra Fine Glitter using Fashion Glitter Bond. It’s like cement for glitter!

3. Gold Metallic Zipper
I stock up on these zippers! I love them for making my own zipper pouches like the scattered jewels pouch project available with your Gold machine.

4. Canvas Tote
I always keep some canvas totes on hand. They are perfect for creating last minute gift bags with my Cricut Explore and if you go to JOANN you can get these totes in a value pack of three!

5. Extra Fine Glitter:
Unlike chunky glitter, Extra Fine Glitter is perfect for fashion projects since it sticks better and results in much less flaking. Confession: I keep a plastic container of extra fine glitter in my craft room! That’s how much I love it.
