Not even close to the description!!!
The description states STONE, however this is a poorly dyed glass bead! (See attached pics) First time I’ve ordered online with Joann Fabrics & not too pleased with this experience either. Only got 3 of my items & having to wait for the remainder of the items I ordered on the same transaction! Had I been able to see this item in person, (stores closed due to COVID-19), I would NEVER have purchased this item!!! Boo Joann Fabrics for this misleading description of the item! I will be returning these subpar beads!
If anyone out there is looking for ‘throwaway’ beads, then by all means buy these. Otherwise, DO NOT PURCHASE this item if you are looking for quality!

More purple than blue but pretty
Not blue as description states. They are a pretty Glass bead and have a shiny glossy finish. More of a purple-ish color than blue. I needed a dark blue to closely match lapis lazuli and these beads Didn’t match at all for my project

Pretty color
In my first review I stated that these beads are actually an aqua blue, that is incorrect, these beads are more a dark purple color than a cobalt blue, and as stated in the last review, these beads don't feel like stone, again I'm not certain what the material is. The beads I originally bought under this item number look exactly like these pictured above, and they feel like stone, they are beautiful. The second set of beads I bought under this item number are a pretty color purple, but not what I was looking for when I ordered these to go with the first set of beads I bought. As I stated in my last review I would recommend these beads because the color is pretty.

Pretty color
This is a pretty color bead, but it's not the cobalt blue color that's in the description of the bead, it's more of an aqua blue, if you're looking for the beautiful cobalt blue beads described this is not it. The description also says stone, I don't know what this material is, it doesn't feel like stone. Originally when I bought these beads they were exactly as described. I've been waiting to match what I have with what is being sold under the same description so I can make a necklace, so far no luck. I would recommend these only because of the color, and nothing else.
