SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Cricut Explore
- Laptop or Computer
- Black Glitter Cardstrock
- Purple Cardstock
- Cricut Light Grip Mat
- Glue Tape
- Twine
- Basket
- Hot Glue Gun/Glue Gun Sticks
DIRECTIONS:
- Measure your baskets length across.
- Open Design Space.
- Insert text box and type BOO!
- Change font to Din Condensed and change color to black.
- Size according to your basket length.
- Duplicate the text 5 times and change those 5 to purple, and place 4 of the BOO! texts around 1 BOO! text. Placements should be above, to the right, below, to the left.
- Highlight and weld those 5 together to make the background of the BOO!
- Cut with the Cricut and follow on screen instructions.
- Glue tape base and and black BOO! Together.
- Glue twine to the backs of the letters and explanation point to form a banner.
- Glue BOO! banner to the basket.
JOANN HACKS:
- To help the dot stay connected in the explanation point, Insert a square from shapes icon and add to the explanation point gap of the purple base. Weld together.
- Before cutting, change material type to "cardstock for intricate cuts" for the purple and "glitter cardstock" setting for the black.
- If your basket has an insert and you can't tie your banner onto the basket, hot glue into the corners of the basket liner.
