Born to Shine Outfit

Beginner Under 1 Hour
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
  • White cotton t-shirt
  • Cricut Premium Vinyl Pearl Metallic Permanent Glossy in blue
  • Cricut
  • Green Cricut mat, regular and 12"x 24"
  • Iron
  • Kwik Sew 2957
  • Fabric and notions per the pattern jacket for the skirt

DIRECTIONS:
Shirt:
  1. Open Cricut Design Space.
  2. Using Signature Script Fonts-Fudge, type "Born to SHINE"
  3. Size design to fit shirt. Minimize both O's and add a thick line underneath each one.
  4. Make sure the wording is grouped and attached.
  5. Click the Make It Button, making sure to turn on mirror image.
  6. Cut image out and carefully peel off the Cricut mat.
  7. Heat iron following cotton settings but do not turn on steam.
  8. Iron shirt first and gently place the Born to SHINE image on top of the center of shirt.
  9. Press iron directly on image and hold for 30 seconds, lift and press again until the whole
  10. image is heated.
  11. Allow to cool and gently peel backing off of the vinyl.
  12. If the vinyl starts to lift, gently place it back down on the shirt and press the iron to the spot.
Skirt:
  1.  Follow pattern Kwik sew 2957, using your favorite sequin rainbow fabric
