The bride’s dress is a great project for the experienced sewer. The dress is made up of parts from three different sewing patterns, using distinct features from each pattern.
The chiffon top of the dress started with Vogue 1460 without the sleeves to give the looser fit and the top of the arm hole drops slightly over the shoulder. The back seam which calls for a zipper was left open with just a closure at the top. Vogue 1428 was used for the under-bodice. Vogue 8766 was used for the skirt with a chiffon overlay.
