SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Assorted floral picks
- Assorted colors of ribbon
- Wire cutting tool
- Floral tape or floral wire
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Sewing pin
DIRECTIONS:
- Use wire cutting tool to cut apart floral picks.
- Separate floral stems into similar color palettes so the bouquets coordinate with one another.
- Starting with greenery, begin building the bouquet in your hand and creating a frame for the shape. Add larger flowers next, making sure to disperse the color and texture throughout. Add additional fillers and small flowers to fill any gaps that appear.
- To finish off the bouquet, add several stems of additional greenery as a collar around the base of the bouquet. This helps to hide any imperfections in the stems and fills out the base of the bouquet.
- Wrap floral tape or floral wire around the base of the bouquet to secure the stems in place. Use wire cutters to trim the ends of the stems.
- Use scissors to cut a piece of ribbon about 18" in length. Using a hot glue gun, glue one end of the ribbon to the bouquet to cover the floral tape/wire. Continue wrapping the ribbon around the base of the bouquet, leaving about 1-2" of the stems exposed at the end. To secure the ribbon, fold the end of the ribbon under and insert a sewing pin upward into the bouquet at an angle so the pin does not poke through.
