SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 3 coordinating frames
- Chicken wire ribbon
- 1/4" screws, 12
- Screwdriver
- Hot glue gun/glue gun sticks
- Wire cutters
- Pliers
- Floral picks & stems
- Floral wire
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut a piece of chicken wire ribbon the width of the outside of your frame leaving 1" excess on each side. Place the wire ribbon on the back of the frame about 2" from the bottom. Secure the wire ribbon in place with a screw at the top and bottom on each side. Make sure to pull the mesh tight. Once secured in place, bend the 1" excess wire ends under and push them against the frame so you don't have any sharp edges. Repeat with all 3 frames.
- Flip the frames over so that they are right side up. Place the florals onto the wire ribbon to create your rough layout. Trim the stems to the desired length and secure in place with wire. Any loose pieces or smaller pieces can be secured with hot glue.
JOANN HACKS:
- When screwing the chicken wire ribbon in place secure one side then pull tight and secure the other side to make sure the ribbon is taut.
