Beautiful Fabric!
Not just for Dresses and Shirts. This is a great fabric to work with. I choose this, because it gives you cool comfort for shorts, but also gives you that texture. It is wonderful to work with. It’s also great for adding shirring at the waist.

Soft and nice colors
This bubble gauze, which i usually refer to as "double gauze" is quite nice. It makes a cute dress. The hot pink is actually a nice hot pink, which i appreciate. I expected it to be a little dull, but it's nice. I washed before cutting out my dress pattern. It wrinkles up a bunch when you wash it, but it is super light weight for wearing.

Bad cut !
I ordered 2 yards , the cut is not only not straight but also 2.25” short at BOTH selvedges. This is unacceptable.

Nice double gauze
Used as a backing for my quilt. I took a chance when I didn't see the width listed but once I ironed it out it seemed to be around 54" which was perfect for my project. I got it on sale and bolt discount which made it a pretty good value!

Easy to sew
Prewashed and dried (in mesh bag). No need to iron. Was perfect out of the dryer. Simple sleeveless shift dress with self fabric facings on neck and sleeves. Overlocked edges prior to sewing on regular sewing machine with a long stitch. Key to this fabric is to choose a simple pattern. Came out perfect.

Not blue!
This is beautiful lightweight, summer fabric but beware of the color names. I wanted blue but when I received it the Quarry Blue is definitely gray, not at all blue. It's a nice gray if that's what you want, but I'm returning it.

So soft!
I had bought a cotton gauze throw blanket for my couch and after discovering how light, soft and breathable it was, I wanted to make a pair of pajamas with the same type of fabric. Just finished it and couldn’t be more pleased. Nice quality fabric that’s light as air and gets softer with use. The fabric does stretch with use so if you’re making anything more fitted, I highly recommend pressing it first.

So cool and easy to work with!
We were extras for the Feeding of the 5000 for the TV show The Chosen (which you can download the app and watch for free!). Filming was in June in Midlothian, Texas and temps were in mid- to upper 90s with humidity well over 50-60%. It was brutal. This fabric was perfect for our costumes -- and for hundreds of other costumes there! Obviously a popular choice for people from all over the States to make their First Century garb out of! Easy to work with, easy to tea or coffee stain for added authenticity -- it was great!

Excellent! Would purchase again.
As a beginner, this was a great fabric to work with. It feels great to wear - extremely comfortable. I'd definitely buy this again in other colors for summer garment sewing. (Dress is M7971.)

Good double gauze, online colors aren't accurate
I love the feel of this fabric, but online buyers should be aware-- the colors are very off in both depth and tone. The purple and yellow, in particular, are nothing like pictured.
