Exclusive features include 17 built-in stitches, with 38 stitch functions, including blind hem, stretch, zigzag and decorative shell tuck stitch and auto-size 4-step buttonholer allows you to easily create buttonholes that are custom-sized for your specific button. There is an easy to use, jam-resistant Quick-Set drop-in top bobbin system. The automatic bobbin winding system produces an evenly wound bobbin for optimal sewing. The thread control dial enables tension adjustments for various fabrics, this helps to ensure even stitching. The free arm/flatbed convertible sewing surface makes it easier to sew smaller cylindrical items such as pant legs, sleeves, and children's clothing. And the clear bobbin cover and bobbin allow you to see when the bobbin is running low on thread. Use the blind hem stitch for creating nearly invisible hems on pants and sleeves. This machine includes a built-in bright LED light to illuminate the sewing area. And the built-in accessory storage lets you store all your sewing supplies within easy access.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a Prize! I received this machine as a prize drawing in an online contest. It was shipped to me and arrived in perfect condition. Full disclosure: I own a Brother 1250D and a Brother Stellaire XE1, so I am experienced with higher end computerized machines, and I was a little bit skeptical about a basic mechanical machine. Well, I can tell you, I LOVE THIS LITTLE MACHINE! I love being able to just turn it on and sew! The stitched included are pre-set in width and length, and being able to sew without a lot of decisions is wonderful. The stitch quality is perfect, and making the 4 step buttonhole is very easy, even though I've been spoiled by the buttonhole application on my Brother 1250D. Even the manual threading is simple enough, because of the bright LED lighting. I love that this machine is lightweight enough to move easily, yet still has a metal frame inside. I am looking forward to using this machine as a way to introduce my young grandchildren to sewing. As someone who has sewn for 50+ years, and who has owned several computerized machines with all sorts of "Bells and Whistles", this machine does not disappoint as it has all the features I need to get the job done, without a lot of fuss. This is the machine I'd choose to take to a friend's house for a sewing party (once we are allowed to go to parties again!)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Feeder feet and arm I bought this machine knowing it would be rinky dink but just need one with the arm so I could patch the knees on pants. The arm is so wide that I couldn’t even get the pant leg (standard boys pants)onto it from either direction! (Waistband or bottom of leg). I also used scrap fabric to test the machine and found that the feeder teeth weren’t really feeding the fabric smoothly.
