Rated 4 out of 5 by from I use cotton quilting fabric in a complementary design, trace the stocking shape, and make a lining. This works out really well and make the stocking more functional. Also, hides any threads that were tied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Mom used Buscilla Stockings for her family (4 kids) and i continued the tradition for my family. Yes, it is time consuming if you do not know basic stitching, but it is so worth it. I did need to buy certain colors for stitching when I thought i should use more strands than what they recommend  but it gives a good product. I also did have to buy 3 extra sea beads but if my own stocking is any indication, it is SOO worth it!

Very time-consuming and directions were a bit confusing and incorrect at times (penguin's eyes). Ran out of black thread and clear beads - had to borrow from my next stocking. Hope I don't run out.

I do not plan on filling the stockings at Christmas time, just hanging them for decoration. I would be devastated if something happened to them after the many hours I spent making it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lot of work but worth it. I made this stocking for my grandson. Was very happy with the end result. Very detailed and time consuming but is something I hope he will use for a long long time. Some of the directions are a little confusing and there was not enough of the white/iridescent sequins so I had to go out and try to find some. Ended up with something close but that was a major pain. Overall am pleased.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from felt snowman sock So unhappy with the quality of the felt. The white is so thin that the thread wouldn't hold the stitch. I was so excited to make this because I have made Bucilla things in the past and they have turned out very nice. The sock when finished would be not be usable for stuffing.
