SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Bright White Candy Melts candy
  • Pink Candy Melts candy
  • Favorite double-stuffed chocolate sandwich cookies
  • Black FoodWriter edible marker
  • Cake board
  • Waxed paper
  • Disposable decorating bags
  • 8" lollipop sticks

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Melt 2oz Bright White and Pink candy, separately, according to package instructions. Reserve remaining white candy.
  2. Pipe ears. Prepare two decorating bags, separately, with melted white and pink candy.
  3. On waxed paper-covered board, pipe bunny ears. Start with pink candy, piping line about 1 1/2" tall, then pipe white outline around pink line. Make 2 ears per cookie pop.
  4. Chill until set, about 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. Dip cookies. Insert tip of treat stick into remaining melted candy, then into middle of cookie. Repeat with remaining treats.
  6. Let set, about 15 to 20 minutes.
  7. Melt remaining 10oz Bright White candy according to package instructions. Dip cookies into melted candy. Tap lightly on edge to remove excess.
  8. Transfer to waxed paper-covered board; immediately insert bunny ears. Chill until set, about 10 to 15 minutes.
  9. Using black marker, draw face on each bunny cookie.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bunny cookie flops! The craft sticks recommended are too fat for the cookies and force them apart before you even get started ! The Wilton food writer will NOT write on the candy melted faces. Don’t try this at home. Total flop!!!!
