• Fabric - follow pattern envelope recommendations for fabric and notions.
• Basic sewing supplies
• Sewing machine
• Iron and pressing surface

DIRECTIONS:

Follow the pattern directions for the construction of the apron.
Note: These make a great gift or a fun favor for a cookie baking day with friends.

Little Girl's Apron

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Simplicity 1240 View B
• Fabric - follow pattern envelop recommendations for fabric and notions. Note, add about ? yd to the contrast ruffle and pocket fabric to make the neck straps in the same contrast fabric.
• Basic sewing supplies
• Disappearing marking pen
• Sewing machine
• Iron and pressing surface
• Optional - embroidery machine, stabilizer and thread

DIRECTIONS:

For the embroidery:
1. Pin the pattern pieces for the main body of the apron on the fabric.
2. With a disappearing marking pen draw around the pattern then remove pattern.
3. Using the pattern markings as a guide line up the fabric in the machine embroidery hoop with the stabilizer so the name is placed on the top of the bib as desired. Embroider the name. Remove the embroidered piece from the hoop and cut or tear off stabilizer.

Continue following the pattern for the construction substituting fabric for the straps if desired.
