Camo Mask with Cord Ties

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• 100% cotton fabric
• Parachute cord
• Cord stop
• Pattern template (download PDF under print description above)
• Basic sewing supplies
• Cricut® Machine
• Cricut Iron-On
• Cricut EasyPress™

DIRECTIONS:

1. Download the pattern by clicking “download PDF" below Print Description on the right. Make a second copy of the pattern for the outside. Add 1" to the side seam, which will be the outside of the mask.
2. Cut two of the new outside pattern using the outer fabric. Cut two out of the original pattern for the lining of the mask.
3. Match outer pieces right sides together, and sew the outer curve using 3/8" seam allowance. Repeat with lining pieces.
4. Open pieces and press both seam allowances to the right.
5. Top stitch down the seam allowance, about 1/4" from the seam.
6. Match front and back pieces right sides together, nesting center front seams.
7. Sew across the top and bottom mask
8. Turn mask right side out and press. Top stitch top and bottom edge of mask.
9. Fold outer side seam in 1/4". Fold a second time 3/4" and top stitch down the edge to create a channel for the cord to go through.
10. Cut cord to 52" long. Melt cut ends to seal cord and prevent unraveling. Pass ends of cord down through channels of mask and insert into cord stop.
