Christmas Tree Weaving Hoop

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
1- 6” embroidery hoop for each design hoop
Assorted beads, buttons, yarns, glittery pom poms
Tacky Glue
Scissors
 
DIRECTIONS:
Christmas Tree Wreath with buttons
Start with a yarn and create 5 vertical loops wrapping around the hoop evenly spaced apart to look like a tree.  Glue the end piece of yarn on the backside of the hoop.
Start at the top and weaving another long piece of yarn between the vertical rows of yarn. Push the yarn up to the top as needed to make it tight.
When you get close to the bottom, glue the end on the backside of the tree that you just made.
Use a red yarn and wrap around the 2-3 middle vertical loops to create a tree trunk.  Glue the end piece on the backside of the tree trunk.
Glue buttons on the front surface at random.
Glue the glittery pom poms at the bottom of each loop.
Green Yarn Tree with pony beads
Wrap the entire embroidery hoop with the light green yarn.  Tie and glue the end of the yarn at the back of the hoop.
Using a darker green yarn make a star. Tie and then glue the end piece on the backside of the hoop.
Attach a bow of light green yarn at the top of the embroidery hoop and then attach a dark green bow as well.
Glue the red bells onto the hoop at the base of the bow and at the points of each star.
Green Tree with stars
Start with a yarn and create 5 vertical loops wrapping around the hoop evenly spaced apart to look like a tree.  Glue the end piece of yarn on the backside of the hoop.
Glue mini poms in between the strands of the tree randomly to appear like ornaments.
Glue the stars around the perimeter of the embroidery hoop.4.
Attach a piece of yarn at the top for the hanger on the hoop.
