1st time cutting wood
was easy to install and worked great cutting the Cricut basswood that I purchased. The only problem was that the wood project I made broke, because Design Space is made to do 14 passes. I had to stop the project after 8 passes, cause the letter broke.

Cricut Cutting Blades
As always, Cricut materials excel! Just purchased the knife blade to try my hand at cutting Balsa and Basswood. Following the Cricut guidelines for pressure and number of cuts, it worked like a dream.

Worthless
Garbage. Does not cut through 1/16 basswood as promised. Cuts through the top layer but when you turn the wood over it's completely smooth... the cuts don't go all the way through. Called support and, after walking me through several troubleshooting steps, they said I had a faulty blade... so they shipped me a new one. New blade behaves the same as the old one. Doesn't cut all the way through.

Knife Blade and Housing
The Knife Blade and Housing worked very well. I'm still getting used to my Cricut, so I haven't made a ton of things. For the things I have made, the knife blade works fine.

Good for thick materials
Works great, i have only cut matboard but it really does the job, been working on model scales for school and its a very precise tool
