- 1/8yd each quilting fabrics, 5 or 6
- Hot glue gun/glue gun sticks
- Scissors
- Pattern templates

- Prym Dritz® Fray-Check Sealant
- EcoFi Plus Premium Felt, 9"x 12": Black, green
- 2/3yd orange felt
- Pipe cleaners
- Tailor's chalk

Trick or Treat Tote
- Cut letters from templates. (Cut each letters from multiple fabrics; this will gives options of color/letter arrangements.)
- Arrange letters as desired.
- Use fray check according to directions along edges.
- Pin and hand baste letters in place.
- Top stitch close to the edge of each letter.
- Blanket stitch around parts of some letters to add texture.

Pumpkin Tote
- Cut according to templates.
- Cut two 19" squares out of orange felt.
- Round corners and cut a shallow V shape on one side, repeat on the opposite side, creating a pumpkin shape.
- Sew the two pumpkin shapes close to outer edge.
- With chalk, draw three curved lines similar to the template.
- Stitch along marked lines.
- Place eyes, mouth and nose. Pin and top stitch close to edges.
- Stitch vines together along edges.
- Glue on top of stem.
- Glue to back, top of pumpkin.
- Place on top of tote bag and pin.
- Whipstitch along inside, making sure to only catch back layer of pumpkin.
- Glue vines in spirals to top of pumpkin.
