Not too hard for my first cable knit project
I haven’t finished the project and have just finished the first panel. There is a typo that completely threw me off and had to do some math calculations to figure it out.
The pattern says to cast on “1/2 stitches”, I have only been knitting 6 months and thought 1/2 stitches was an actual stitch...it’s not. Begin with casting on 112 stitches!
The pattern could have been written a little bit better, but I do like working the pattern and feel it’s a great start to intermediate knitting.
I would also recommend placing a marker after each repeat in the row. Each row begins and ends with 4 Perl or 4 knit stitches and then 4 sets of 26 stitches in pattern, so I used three place markers.
I will try to update when I finish!

Gorgeous cushion cover
This pattern is a lot easier than it looks. Very pleased with the result.
