Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for summer we have a 1966 Playmor and i will make this. I did read other reviews but I found your directions very understandable, maybe because I sew on the fly, hahahahahaha. But Totally understand your directions. I'm thinking of maybe canvas. I always adjust measurements to fit my need but love your diagram.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Camper Sun Sail As an experienced seamstress I was unimpressed with the directions. No picture of the finished product and only one mention of grommets. Are they included, or do you need to purchase grommets and device separately? Misleading directions in my opinion.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lackluster Instructions As a seamstress and a woman who owns an awning company for vintage travel trailers, I enjoy reading how to tutorials for making them yourself. This list of instructions does not make sense at all. A full photo of the made shade sail would be more beneficial. Ironing an outdoor fabric is ill advised because of the coating on the fabric which WILL get all over your iron. The list of supplies doesn't even include outdoor thread, or thread at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Instructions don’t make sense The instructions call for 4 yards of fabric (144”). The diagram shows a piece of fabric 120” long. Why would one need to buy an extra 24” of expensive fabric. The instructions say something that I can’t understand about 3 1/2 feet plus 2 inches. So that’s 44 inches. The diagram shows a cutting line at 60 inches. I can’t make any sense out of the instructions. I am a very experienced sewist. I could probably figure this out from the diagram, but the instructions are extremely confusing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Where are the instructions??? Wow, this has to be the least amount of instructions I've ever seen. Not even a full photo of were the trim goes. I would love this project, I travel in a trailer almost 50% of the year and I enjoy putting as many personal touches to my trailer as possible. This project needs much more instruction before I consider purchasing the supplies.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Skimpy instructions! While I'm interested in trying this Camper Sun Sail, I'm reluctant to because the instructions are skimpy and I see no diagram picture to follow. I won't be purchasing your fabric until instructions are improved.
