DIRECTIONS:
- Protect your work surface with paper or plastic (recommended) and assemble supplies & tools.
- Using a brush, paint the entire outside of the jar with gesso. Let sit until dry to the touch, could take up to 24 hours.
- Adhere 2 pieces of the masking tape or washi tape around the jar, one approximately 2 inches from the top of the jar and another 1 1/2 inches from the bottom of the jar. Be sure to press down firmly around the letters and designs so the paint doesn't bleed underneath.
- Squeeze out about 1 teaspoon of the Titanium White and the Cadmium-Free Orange onto the palette paper.
- Paint the orange color first around the bottom of the jar stopping where the lower piece of tape is, placing a hand inside the jar to hold and rotate.
- Paint the white color around the top portion of the jar stopping where the top piece of tape is, holding the middle of the jar in between the 2 pieces of tape. Carefully remove both pieces of tape. Let sit until completely dry.
- Once FULLY DRY…adhere 2 more pieces of the masking tape or washi tape, one along the white line and another along the orange line, leaving the center open. Be sure to press down firmly around the letters and designs so the paint doesn't bleed underneath.
- Squeeze out about 1 teaspoon of the yellow paint.
- Paint the yellow color in the center of the jar stopping at both tape lines.
- Carefully remove both pieces of tape. Let sit until completely dry.
- To add a final touch, tie a piece of ribbon or twine around the top of the jar with a bow.
