NOTES
To begin working with the O'Go format, carefully cut plastic tie where the ends of the O'Go meet. Pull tie to remove. Start Stitching.
For this pattern, colors can be easily separated by gently pulling apart and cutting at the color transition. Each color is ready to use. Follow color guide shown in Materials section for each O'Go (Contrast A and B). You may find it helpful to place each color section in its own resealable (zip lock) bag and label each bag A and B.
Ch 2 at beg of row does not count as st.
When changing colors, do not break yarn. Carry yarn not in use loosely up side of work.
To change color, work to last loops on hook and draw new color through last loops, then proceed in new color.
Garment is worked side to side.

SPECIAL STITCHES
Hdchb = Work 1 hdc into horizontal bar created below in previous row (bar is below loops normally worked on WS - SEE DIAGRAM 1)
Hdchb2tog = (Yoh and draw up a loop in horizontal bar of next stitch) twice. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook
Scbl = Single crochet in back loop only of next stitch

STRIPE PAT I
1st and 2nd rows: With B, ch 1. 1 scbl in each st to end of row. Turn.
3rd and 4th rows: With A, ch 1. 1 scbl in each st to end of row. Turn.
These 4 rows form Stripe Pat I.

STRIPE PAT II
1st and 2nd rows: With A, ch 1. 1 scbl in each st to end of row. Turn.
3rd and 4th rows: With B, ch 1. 1 scbl in each st to end of row. Turn.
These 4 rows form Stripe Pat II.

BACK
**Beg at right edge and A, ch 28 (28-28-29-32-34).
1st row: (RS). 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook and each ch to end of chain. Turn. 26 (26-26-27-30-32) hdc.
2nd row: Ch 2. 1 hdchb in each st to end of row. Turn.
Rep last row 3 (5-1-1-1-1) time(s) more.
Shape shoulder: 1st row: (WS). Ch 2. 1 hdchb in each st to last st. 2 hdchb in last st. Turn. 27 (27-27-28-31-33) sts.
2nd row: Ch 2. 2 hdchb in first st. 1 hdchb in each st to end of row. Turn. 28 (28-28-29-32-34) sts.
3rd row: (WS). Ch 2. 1 hdchb in each st to end of row. Turn.

2nd row: Ch 2. 2 hdchb in first st. 1 hdchb in each st to end of row. Turn.
3rd row: (WS). Ch 2. 1 hdchb in each st to end of row. Turn.
Rep last 2 rows 5 (7-7-8-9-7) times more. 87 (88-90-92-96-96) sts.
Next row: (RS). Ch 2. 1 hdchb in each st to end of row. Turn.
Rep last row 9 (9-11-11-11-17) times more.** Break A, leaving long end for sewing.
Proceed in Stripe Pat I as follows:
Shape right back neck: 1st row: (RS). Skip first 2 hdc. Join B with sl st to next st. Ch 1. Sc2tog. 1 scbl in each st to end of row. Turn. PM at end of row. 84 (85-87-89-93-93) sts.
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 scbl in each st to end of row. Turn.
First 2 rows of Stripe Pat are complete.
Keeping cont of Stripe Pat I, rep last row until work from marker measures approx 7 1/2 (7 1/2-8 1/2-8 1/2-9 1/2-9 1/2)", ending with 1 row of A (RS).
Next row: (WS). Ch 1. 1 scbl in each st to last st. 2 scbl in last st. Join B. Break A. Turn.

SHAPE LEFT BACK NECK AND LEFT SHOULDER

2nd row: Ch 1. 1 scbl in each st to last 2 sts. Sc2tog. Turn.
First 2 rows of Stripe Pat are complete.
Keeping cont of Stripe Pat II, proceed as follows:
3rd row: Ch 1. Sc2tog. 1 scbl in each st to end of row. Turn.
4th row: Ch 1. 1 scbl in each st to end of row. Turn.
Keeping cont of Stripe Pat, rep last row until total number of rows of Stripe Pat II is 3 rows less than Back and ending with 1 row of A (RS).

FINISHING
Pin all pieces to measurements. Cover with a damp cloth leaving cloth to dry. Sew shoulder seams. Sew side and sleeve seams.

NECKBAND
With A, ch 8.
1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. 7 sts.
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 scbl in each st to end of row. Turn.
First 2 rows of Stripe Pat I are complete.
Keeping cont of Stripe Pat I, rep last row until work, when slightly stretched, measures length to fit around neck edge. Fasten off.
Beg at left shoulder, sew neck edging around neck edge matching stripes at Front. Sew neckband seam.
