Soft! Sparkly! Simply Sumptuous!
I am absolutely in love with this yarn! I needed a royal blue to make a special Doctor Who project - a needlepointed TARDIS (see photo). I was absolutely thrilled to find Caron Simply Soft Party in Royal Sparkle, with the sparkly thread running through it! It is soft, it sparkles, and it covers the canvas well. I loved it so much for my sparkly TARDIS that I am making at least two more of them, and plan to knit a sweater (and perhaps a shrug) using it as well. I have also bought it in Silver for another project. I cannot say enough how much I love this yarn! Caron - my only request is, please just make some more beautiful colors! (A gold and/or a canary yellow would be lovely!)

Love the Sparkly
I was looking for a specific yarn which I guess is discontinued, but didn't give up in looking for one that was close to it. To my good fortune I found it The shawl which the yarn was for, came out amazing. Being it was for me, I'm in love with it. Its so so soft, the color so vibrant and sparkly. I will be using the Caron Simply Soft Party again. Just love it. Thank you so much for items that I am able to substitute for another.

Beautiful accent touch to finished project
This is exactly what I needed to bring a little sparkle to the “Ariel” inspired beanie wig I made for pediatric cancer fighters. It may be hard to see in the photo, but if you enlarge you can see in the rolled bangs. :)

Sparkly yet SO soft
All of my friends LOVE bling and sparkle. Like everyone has said, most sparkle yarns are scratchy or the metallic part splits and really doesn't work well in any project. This is GREAT!!!! Please, Caron, make some more great colors.

Put sparkle in your knitting for winter holidays!
Looking for a yarn with a subtle sparkle for knitting or crocheting winter holiday accessories? I use this ultra-soft, worsted weight, acrylic/polyester yarn for knitting holiday chemo hats for women and children at my local medical center. The color selection is great for Christmas, New Years, Hanukkah, or Kwanza.
This yarn knits beautifully (see photo) in spite of the metallic-looking polyester strand trying to separate from the acrylic strand at times. Since I have never kept a hat for myself, I don't know how well the yarn holds up to washing. I put the fiber content and "hand wash, air dry" on my gift tags. After 5 years, no negative feedback.

Soft yet sparkly without being scratchy or bulky!
I had previously purchased several colors of this yarn and loved it so I bought the platinum to make a skirt to match a top that I habe previously made. So, now I have a skirt and matching top with the platinum simply soft party sparkle. It's just a beautiful ensemble.

So Pretty!
I'm always hesitant to use glitter yarn for large projects because they tend to be scratchy and hard to work with. Not this! It is so soft and easy to manage! I bought 6 skeins for a blanket on Tuesday and I'm already half way done! Definitely worth it's price!

The Simply Soft is nice yarn, but the Simply Soft PARTY yarn is terrific. Besides knitting up beautifully, the metallic thread adds just enough sparkle to make this an exceptional yarn. I liked it so much, after the first sweater I ordered more to make a second, and I'm considering a third . . .
