The MagniView (DS-36) from CARSON is a 2x power handheld magnifier that offers a classic design with subtle improvements. The ergonomic top-mounted thumb rest on the handle promotes a more natural hand position, creating balanced weight distribution between lens and handle. There is also a 4.5x spot lens molded into the main lens to give you extra magnification power for fine details when you need it. The 3.5 inch lens is made of high quality acrylic, which has the benefits of being lightweight, shatterproof, more resistant to scratching, and provides a crystal-clear, distortion-free viewing area. This handheld magnifying glass is great for a variety of uses including low vision from macular degeneration, reading, hobbies, crafts, viewing coins and stamps, reading fine print on menus and prescriptions, maps amongst other low vision tasks.
