Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Elegant Prom/Bridal Fabric Very elegant fabric! A bit difficult to work with because it is slippery. Once I figured out how to stabilize it, it became easier to work with. I did buy special pins (extra fine/sharp) for the fabric so there are not pin picks in my project. I also recommend the extra fine/sharp needles. This makes a world of difference in your finished product! Very happy with this fabric!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very lovely material Note: I’m a novice to sewing so this was probably not the best material to make a 3-piece tail-coat but I used drill cloth to give it body. It’s beautiful bright white with a pale blue cast is cool lighting. A smooth crushed textures. This is a very light weight material and handles well. Despite the instructions to use a “cold iron”, I was able to iron it between settings 3 and 4 for the seams and some large parts of my project with no problem to the fabric. Again it is light weight, like lining fabric, and is slightly transparent. So I recommend using fabric a little heavier or more sturdy if you want to use this as an exterior fabric. I used this satin to make a 3 piece tail-coat suit, and again, drill cloth to give it more body. It turned out better than expected.
