DIRECTIONS:

  1. Trim a piece of white cardstock that measures 4 1/4"x 11" and fold in half to create a top-folding A2-sized card base (4 1/4"x5 1/2").
  2. Use two different sizes of the Nesting Rectangle Dies to die cut a frame from bright pink cardstock.
  3. Stamp tiny stars on the frame using Unicorn Pigment Ink.
  4. Trim a piece of acetate that is slightly smaller than the frame and adhere to the backside. This creates the window for the shaker card.
  5. Apply two layers of foam adhesive to the back side of the frame. This will allow the frame to pop up from the card base and the embellishments to shake in the window.
  6. Die cut stars using the Star Confetti Die from light pink, dark pink, light purple and dark purple cardstock. These will be used for confetti in the window.
  7. Stamp “celebrate" on the white card base using black ink, making sure to line it up so it shows through the acetate window.
  8. Gather sequins, seed beads and confetti stars and pile them in the center of the card base.
  9. Remove backing from the foam adhesive on the window and adhere over the shaker mix.

JOANN HACKS:

  • Make sure you have a tight seal all the way around the back of your shaker window, so none of the elements escape!

  • If you are having problems with static electricity and the acetate window, apply some powder from an anti-static embossing powder tool.
