SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
  • Cotton tea towel
  • Tie Dye Ice Kit
  • Water-soluble marker
  • Embroidery thread
  • Embroidery needle
  • Scissors

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Follow the manufacturer instructions for the Tie Dye Ice Kit to dye the tea towel.  
  2. Draw the Hebrew letters for Shabbat (שַׁבָּת) using any font you prefer onto the bottom corner of the towel with the water soluble marker.  
  3. Use a satin embroidery stitch to fill the design.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Idea I would have appreciated the size of the towel; not all tea towels are the same size. I love this idea. Thank you, JOANN. @Spenser שַׁבָּת is written in the directions simply copy the letters and enlarge them in Word, then print. This will produce a template to embroider with.
