SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
DIRECTIONS:
- T-shirt - gray
- 1/4yd Mandalorian print cotton fabric
- 1/4yd HeatnBond Lite
- Tear away stabilizer
- Black and gray all-purpose thread
- Stiff clean toothbrush
- Basic sewing supplies
- Sewing machine
- Iron and pressing surface
- Pattern
DIRECTIONS:
- Trace the helmet pattern on the paper side of the HeatnBond.
- Cut the HeatnBond helmet drawing 1/8" in from the drawn line.
- Note: the HeatnBond design is intentionally cut smaller to allow for the raw edge fabric to be loose and raveled.
- Fuse the HeatnBond design to the back of the Mandalorian print cotton fabric. Cut the fabric around the edge 1/8" out from the HeatnBond to allow for a raw edge that is not fused to the shirt.
- Center the Helmet on the front of the t-shirt and fuse in place.
- Pin the stabilizer to the inside of the shirt behind the helmet design.
- Using the black thread, sew a straight stitch 1/8" in from the fabric edge of the helmet.
- Using the gray thread and the backstitch, sew the marked line across the helmet.
- Use the toothbrush to ravel the fabric edges. Remove the stabilizer.

Download the pattern first.
The pattern is downloadable. Not sure what the first review was talking about.

No pattern!
I saw this in the store and thought my grandson would love it. I scanned the QR code and followed the link to Joann website. The instructions are there but no pattern for the helmet pieces! Why would they put this out without a pattern!
