- 1 Package of Cheesecloth
- 1 Bottle of Stiffy Glue
- 1 Balloon
- 1 Medium Size Flower Vase
- Black Felt
- Painter Tape
- Glue
- Scissors
- Plastic Bag
- Needle
- 1 Package of White Embroidery Thread
DIRECTIONS:
- Blow up balloon to the size that you want the head of the ghost to be.
- Tape the balloon to the top of the vase.
- Set the balloon vase on to if the plastic bag on a flat surface.
- Using your scissors cut 2-3 layers of the cheesecloth to drape over the balloon on the vase and pool a little onto the table.
- Apply the stiffy glue to the cheesecloth. With gloves on rub the glue to saturate the cheesecloth. Drape the bottom of the cheesecloth into the shape that you want it to be when it dries.
- Let it sit for 24-36 hours.
- Pop the balloon and lift off the dried ghost.
- Cut out the eyes and mouth for the ghost out of the black felt.
- Using the craft glue, attach the eyes and mouth to the front of the ghost.
- Cut a 6" length of the embroidery thread and using your needle make a loop at the top of the ghost to be able to hang the ghost.
JOANN HACKS:
- Place your ghost that is drying in a warm sunny window to speed up the drying time.
