- RED HEART® Super Saver®: 1 skein each of 3/4 Buff A & 365 Coffee B (Note: Only a small amount of each yarn color is needed.)
- Susan Bates® Crochet Hook: 3.75 mm [US F-5].
- Polyester fiberfill, 18"
- Thin gold ribbon (for hanger)
- Yarn needle
- GAUGE: 20 sts = 4"; 20 rows/rounds = 4" in single crochet.
- MEASUREMENTS: Ornament measures about 3 3/4" across.

Notes
Cookie is made from 13 pieces: 2 Cookie Pieces and 11 Chocolate Chunks.
The two Cookie Pieces are sewn together and stuffed. The Chocolate Chunks are arranged and attached to the top of the Cookie.
Gauge is not critical for this project. Work tightly so stuffing will not show between stitches.
COOKIE PIECE (make 2)
With A, ch 2.
Round 1 (right side): Work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook—6 sc. Do not join, work in continuous rounds (spirals). Place a marker for beginning of round. Move marker up as each round is completed.
Round 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around—12 sc.
Round 3: [Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc] 6 times—18 sc.
Round 4: [Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc] 6 times—24 sc.
Round 5: [Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc] 6 times—30 sc.
Round 6: Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, [sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc] 5 times, sc in last 3 sc—36 sc.
Round 7: [Sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc] 6 times—42 sc.
Fasten off first Cookie Piece. Do not fasten off second Cookie Piece. Hold the two pieces with wrong sides together and stitches matching. Sewing through both thicknesses, sew edges of Cookie Pieces together, stuff lightly and evenly between the pieces before completing the seam.
CHOCOLATE CHUNK (make 11)
With B, leaving a 7" beginning tail, ch 2.
Round 1 (right side): Work 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook; join with slip st in first sc—3 sc.
Fasten off, leaving a 7" ending tail.
FINISHING
Thread one yarn tail of one Chocolate Chunk onto yarn needle. Insert needle through Cookie from top to bottom and draw tail through. Thread other yarn tail of same Chocolate Chunk onto yarn needle. Skip one stitch on top of Cookie and insert needle through top of Cookie then out bottom of Cookie at same place as first yarn tail. Tie the two tails together at bottom of Cookie, tying tightly to form a dent in Cookie. Trim ends and draw knot inside Cookie to hide. Repeat to attach all remaining Chocolate Chunks, spreading them evenly over top of Cookie.
Fold gold ribbon in half. Insert crochet hook around a few stitches at top of ornament, place ribbon fold on hook and draw through to form a loop. Thread ends of ribbon through loop and pull to tighten. Tie ends together with bow or overhand knot to form hanging loop.
Weave in any remaining ends.
