Christmas Cotton Pre-Cut Stockings

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• 1/2yd Cotton Fabric, from a 2yd Pre-Cut
• 1/2yd Warm-N-Natural Batting
• 5"x 14" Contrast for Cuff
• 14" Trim
• Basic Sewing Supplies

DIRECTIONS:

1. Enlarge pattern; cut 4 stocking pieces for front, back and lining.
2. Cut 2 pieces of batting.
3. Cut 1 piece 1 1/2"x 4" for hanger.
4. Baste batting to WS of stocking front and back.
5. With RS together, sew front to back using a 1/2" seam.
6. Clip curves and turn RS out.
7. Cut cuff 4 1/2"x 13", press in half lengthwise.
8. Sew side RS together, press seam open and fold along pressed line.
9. Stitch trim to bottom of cuff.
10. Press hanger piece in half, open and press edges to center and edge stitch.
11. Fold in half to make hanger and baste over seam of cuff.
12. With RS together, sew lining using a 1/2" seam; leaving an opening for turning.
13. Clip curves.
14. Slip stocking into lining; with RS together, stitch top of stocking.
15. Turn stocking RS out through opening in lining and slip stitch lining closed.
16. Fit lining into stocking.
