  1. Tape together the pattern pieces for the tree. Using photo as a guide, Cut the stump from the walnut felt. Position felt pieces, overlapping branches onto the white canvas fabric and top stitch around each to secure it. Cut the star from the goldenrod felt and sew it to the top of the tree.
  2. Put both pieces of foam core side by side.
  3. With a strong clear glue, attach felt tree to board. Let dry completely.
  4. Once dry, cut tree shape, coming in 1/4" from edge.
  5. Using pattern templates, cut 25 pockets out of Christmas patterned fabric. For pockets with a white cuff at the top, sew the white cuff to the patterned fabric. Fold the edge of each pocket under 1/4" around and iron flat. Position each pocket onto the tree and top stitch around, leaving the top edge open. Add running stitch to white cuff.
  6. Using the pattern templates to cut the small felt objects. Sew each of the body pieces together around the outer edge with a blanket stitch. Stuff with fiberfill before sewing closed. Hot glue any additional pieces onto each.
  7. Attach tree to wall surface with Command™ strips following manufacturers instructions.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from TRY A DIFFERENT BROWSER I couldn't download this pattern no matter what I tried. I used Mozilla Firefox and I was able to get it no problem! I'll edit my review after I try the project.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too small I never read the enlarge pattern note, so I printed out and made as is. The pockets are so small I can barely get anything inside, but I liked the overall look. I might try again later enlarging it, but it’s too late now

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Christmas Countdown Calendar your asked to enlarge pattern but, your not told what percentage to enlarge it. This is an overall important fact. You cannot even start without this information. The next question asks if I would recommend this product to a friend. I would if the enlargement percentage was in the instructions. But without this information I would not recommend it to a friend. I have purchased all the material to complete this project, Had I known it did not have the enlargement percentage I would have passed on this project. I had purchased enough supplies to complete 3 of the same project. There were not any reviews to read at the point of reading the instructions. I assumed that the pattern was going to have the percentage of enlargement on it but, when I printed it there were no percentages. Also, there are parts of the pattern that do not print.
