DIRECTIONS:

SANTA'S HELPER:
  1. Mask off the top and bottom edge of the tumbler.
  2. Apply the Mod podge to the tumbler working in small areas. Sprinkle the white glitter onto the wet glue area. Repeat this until the tumble is completely covered with white glitter. Let it dry for at least 2 hours. Apply Mod Podge again at the bottom of the tumbler and then sprinkle the green glitter onto the tumbler heavy at the bottom and lighter as you go up the tumbler. Let it dry for at least 2 hours.
  3. Spray the tumbler with the acrylic spray and let it dry.
  4. Place the tumbler onto the tumbler turner. Make sure it is balanced before mixing the resin.
  5. Mix the resin according to the package instructions. Put a thin layer of resin onto the tumbler.
  6. Let it spin for 8-12 hours. Remove the tumbler carefully, not to put fingerprints on it. Use the sandpaper to remove any bumps from the glitter on the tumbler. Sand it smooth.
  7. Create your phrase on your Cricut machine and apply the vinyl to the front of the cup.
  8. Place the tumbler back on the tumbler and apply another layer of resin. Let it spin for 8-12 hours. Remove off of the tumbler and trim off any excess resin around the top of the tumbler with your x-acto knife.

CANDY CANE:
  1. Apply the mod podge to the surface of the tumbler. Sprinkle the white and silver glitter onto the wet mod podge and lightly press the glitter onto the tumbler. Completely cover the outside of the tumbler. Let it dry for at least two hours. Spray the entire tumbler on the outside with the acrylic spray. Let it dry.
  2. Use the painter's tape to tape off the white area leaving the exposed stripes for where you are going to put the red glitter. Make sure the stripes are evenly placed. Press the tape firmly. Apply Mod Podge in the strip area of one stripe and apply red glitter. Shake off the excess glitter. Repeat this process for each stripe. After you have made all of the stripes, spray it with the acrylic spray and let it dry for at least 2 hours. Remove the painter's tape. Apply Mod Podge to the bottom of the tumbler and press it down into a pile of the glitter to cover the bottom. Let it dry. Once completely covered, spray it with the acrylic spray and let it dry.
  3. Place it on the tumbler and mix the resin according to the package instructions. Make the first layer thin and let it spin for 8-12 hours. Sand off any bumps using the fine grit sandpaper and then place back on the tumbler and apply another layer of resin and let it spin for 8-12 hours. Remove off of the tumbler and trim off any excess resin around the top of the tumbler with your x-acto knife.

BLACK SNOWFLAKE:
  1. Using the painter's tape tape off any of the top and bottom that you don't want painted black. Spray paint the tumbler with the black spray paint. Apply two layers, but let it dry between coats.
  2. Cut out the snowflakes in Design space and with your Cricut machine. Apply the snowflakes to the sides of the tumbler. Place hte tumbler onto the tumbler turner and apply a medium layer of resin. Let it spin for 8-12 hours.
  3. Remove off of the tumbler and trim off any excess resin around the top of the tumbler with your x-acto knife.

BUFFALO PLAID:
  1. Spray paint the tumbler red and let it dry.
  2. Use the painter's tape and evenly tape off vertical stripes around the tumbler. Press them firmly. Then, apply painter's tape around the tumbler evenly spaced stripes.
  3. Apply Mod Podge to the open areas and sprinkle red glitter. Press firmly. Remove the horizontal stripes of tape.
  4. Mix the red and black glitter together to get the middle color. Apply Mod Podge to the open horizontal areas and then apply the glitter mixture. Let it dry.
  5. Then remove the rest of the tape and you will apply Mod Podge to the diagonal squares using the glitter mixture. Let it dry.
  6. Apply Mod Podge to the last open vertical areas and sprinkle the black glitter. Let it dry.
  7. Spray the tumbler with the acrylic spray and let it dry.
  8. Place the tumbler onto the tumbler turner and make sure it is level.
  9. Apply a thin layer of resin onto the tumbler. Let it spin for 8-12 hours.
  10. Sand off any bumps with the fine grit sandpaper.
  11. Apply another layer of resin and let it spin for 8-12 hours.
  12. Remove off of the tumbler and trim off any excess resin around the top of the tumbler with your x-acto knife.

JOANN HACKS:

  • Use the heat gun to remove any air bubbles.
  • Be careful not to get too close to the resin with the heat gun. You don't want to cook it.
  • Make sure it is level as it is spinning.
  • Check on it a couple of times early in the drying process.
