SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Unfinished wood signs
- Acrylic paint
- Detail brush
- Medium brush
- Water/paper towels for clean up
- White spray paint if base coating*
DIRECTIONS:
- Decide the colors you want to paint each piece. Start with the background, add additional coats as needed. Let paint dry between each coat.
- Working from the background to the foreground add details to each design with a detail brush.
Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:
- Apply paint in thin coats to avoid drips.
- If placing on a door or outside make sure to seal the paint and place in an area under an awning or that does not come in contact with rain/snow.
- To help colors show brighter and remove the wood burned edges spray paint the entire piece with a light coat of white spray paint. *This will not be able to be used on all pieces if you want the wood burned affect visible as a design element.
