    1. Place Glitter HTV on the cutting mat carrier side facing down, load mat into desktop cutter, mirror design, cut material, and remove from cutting mat. Repeat this step for StripFlock Pro HTV.
    2. Use scissors to cut the design from each HTV to save any extra material. Use your EasyWeeder tool to remove excess material and cavities from your design. You'll be left with just the reversed design on the clear carrier sheets, which are slightly sticky.
    3. Assign a different color of cardstock to each banner piece following the template or choose your own unique combination of colors.
    4. Place a single piece of cardstock on the cutting mat, load mat into desktop cutter, cut paper, and remove from cutting mat. Repeat this step for remaining banner pieces.
    5. Once all materials are cut and weeded, turn on and set your EasyPress to 335F or use the cotton/linen setting on your home iron.
    6. Place single banner piece on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Place respective StripFlock Pro letter in position on the cardstock, cover with parchment paper, and press for 5 seconds. Remove parchment paper and peel carrier. If the HTV lifts, cover with parchment paper and press again for a few seconds.
    7. Align respective Glitter letter centered on top of the applied Stripflock Pro, cover with parchment paper, and press for 5 seconds. Peel carrier.
    8. Repeat previous two steps until banner pieces are complete.
    9. String banner pieces together on strands of twine and hang up for your Cinco De Mayo fiesta.

    JOANN HACKS:

    • All time, temperature, and pressure settings for heat applying Siser HTV can be found at SiserNA.com. Add an additional 30F to our recommended settings anytime you are using a Cricut EasyPress.
    • Since the cardstock paper will not be laundered, you do not have to press each piece for the full recommended time, about 5 seconds per layer will do.
    • When separating the cardstock from the mat, peel the mat away from the cardstock so that the cardstock doesn't curl.
